On 27 January 2013, it will be 68 years since Auschwitz and Birkenau were liberated on 27 January 1945. Each year this is commemorated on the last Sunday in January in Amsterdam.

More than 14,000 people have already supported the initiative of the Dutch Auschwitz Committee to erect a monument in the Netherlands. The monument, in the form of a wall of names, will commemorate the 110,000 victims without a grave.

The 10th Auschwitz Never Again-lecture will be held on Thursday January 24 2013 in the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam (14:00 hrs). Speaker will be announced shortly. The annual Holocaust/Auschwitz Commemoration will be held on Sunday January 27 2013. Detailed information will follow shortly.
