Each year the Dutch Auschwitz Committee organises the ‘Auschwitz Never Again Lecture' in collaboration with the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB), the Dutch Institute for War Documentation (NIOD), and the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies. In 2012, this will be organised for the ninth time. Each year, a prominent guest is invited to give a lecture. The lecture includes an annual award named after the honorary chairwoman of the Auschwitz Committee, Annetje Fels-Kupferschmidt, who passed away in 2001. Lecture 2012
In 2012, the lecture will take place on Friday, 27 January, in the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam; Christopher R. Browning will be the guest speaker of this year's lecture. This year the lecture will start earlier than usual because of the
