Depositing radios
Since the implementation of the radio licence fee in January 1941 all radio owners were registered. More than 70% of the Dutch population complied with the ordinance to hand in radios. When the Germans threatened the population with severe punishments and
house searches, the number of deposited radios increased to approximately 800,000.
